In-Depth Interviews

In-depth interviews (IDIs) are typically one-on-one research sessions held between a moderator and a participant to collect independent reactions about a given concept, product, service, advertisement, message, etc. Scorpio Research generally conducts IDIs in order to gain a deeper, and often times, more intimate understanding of the research topic than the group dynamic of focus groups allow.

Scorpio Research conducts in-person, phone, and online IDIs. In addition to traditional IDIs, we also offer dyads (two-person sessions) and triads (three-person sessions). We will recommend the most appropriate variation based upon the client objectives as well as the specific subject matter at hand.
